Substance AbusE - Toxicology / Drug Testing

HAS provides drug testing services. Clients are screened for 7 classes of drugs: amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cannabinoids, cocaine, opiates, and PCP.

Counseling staff screen clients for alcohol use with a hand-held Breathalyzer and for other drugs with urinalysis tests. These services are provided in conjunction with all levels of substance abuse treatment and are utilized primarily for clinical purposes to aide the individual in monitoring their abstinence as well as for assessment and screening purposes.

The urine screens follow "legal chain of custody" procedures and results can be used for legal purposes with proper Releases of Information.
