Substance Abuse Treatment

HAS offers a wide variety of substance abuse treatment services designed to help participants gain control over substance abuse problems.

All new participants first meet with an intake counselor to discuss their use of substances and its effect on their lives. Based on this evaluation, participants receive a plan that matches the severity of their substance abuse problem to a treatment program intensive enough to allow them to enter recovery.

HAS offers treatment programs ranging from residential and transitional housing, through two levels of outpatient services, and into long-term recovery management. Treatment plans are reviewed regularly based on participants’ input and progress.
