Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP)

PAIP

HAS’s Partner Abuse Intervention Program (PAIP) offers participants a combination of group and individual counseling that helps them to understand abusive behavior and refrain from engaging in it, together with strategies for recognizing anger and other emotions and dealing with them appropriately.  This programming is gender-specific and is offered to both men and women, in both Spanish and English.  The PAIP program meets state protocols for domestic violence programming and is approved by the Illinois Department of Human Services and by the local court system.

All services are provided in a caring, supportive, culturally-sensitive manner and are facilitated in Spanish or English. Participation in the program is voluntary and completely confidential.
