BASTA! Domestic Violence Program
“Basta!” means “enough!” in Spanish, and every year the program helps hundreds of individuals and families put an end to the abuse in their lives.
The BASTA! program is available to all victims of domestic violence and partner abuse: spouses, cohabitating partners, girlfriends/boyfriends, children, extended family members, and significant others. Services include: individual counseling, crisis intervention, court advocacy, support groups and referrals to community resources including emergency food, shelter and legal assistance. Preventing further violence and assuring victim safety/welfare is our first priority. Participants are not required to face their aggressors or to provide any proof of the abuse incident or history.
All services are provided in a caring, supportive, culturally-sensitive manner and are facilitated in Spanish or English. Participation in the program is voluntary and completely confidential.
