Anger Management

Anger Management

The Anger Management program at HAS offers participants a combination of group and individual counseling that helps them to understand their anger and other emotions and to deal with them appropriately.  This programming is gender-specific and is offered to both men and women, in both Spanish and English.  The Anger Management program at HAS meets state protocols and is approved by the Illinois Department of Human Services and by the local court system.

All services are provided in a caring, supportive, culturally-sensitive manner and are facilitated in Spanish or English. Participation in the program is voluntary and completely confidential; however, participants who are mandated to services via the court will need to grant a release of information to their court social worker or probation officer.
